Our Inclusive SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) Clip ’n Climb sessions provide a supportive and positive environment for disabled and/or neurodivergent children and young people to enjoy climbing, socialise, build confidence and strength, and most importantly have fun!

Each one-hour session includes a safety briefing, harness fitting and 45 minutes of climbing, with participants free to tackle the walls at their own pace. Sessions have lower participant numbers, allowing our experienced instructors to provide more individual support and encouragement.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first session so we can meet you, understand how best to support you and answer any questions.

The session is indoors, and you will enter the building through the front door, when you enter you will be in the reception area.

The Clip ‘n Climb area is to your right, through two glass doors. The briefing room (where you’ll go first) is on your right.

The climbing walls are on your left. There is seating available next to the Clip ‘n Climb walls. There is a café area which serves snacks, tea and coffee, and a place to sit after your session. The toilets are in the reception/cafe area. We have an accessible toilet. Flashpoint is located just off junction 3 on the M32.

We have ample parking located behind Extract Coffee Roasters, the building next to us.

Our session is aimed at and inclusive of disabled and/or neurodivergent children and young people aged 4-18 years.

You do not need an official diagnosis to attend. Our instructors are experienced and confident in working with individuals with a range of needs and goals and will adapt the session to ensure everyone can take part safely. Providing detailed information on your registration form will help them do this.

This activity is suitable for both beginners and those who have climbed before. Individuals will need to be able to climb independently as unfortunately there is no adaptive equipment available to support wheelchair users and those who are unable to climb independently. We are striving to make our sessions fully inclusive and are working to improve the accessibility of our climbing offer.

Please arrive 10 minutes early – it takes a little time to check your paperwork and get your shoes fitted.

Getting here: We are easy to get to via car, train, or on foot. Find us on google maps Here

Parking: We have a small car park at the front of the centre, and a larger one at the rear of the building, accessed via Extract Coffee Roasters next door.

Please do not park on the road once you have passed our entrance.

What to wear: Wear loose comfortable clothing (what you would wear to the gym). It can be a little chilly in the winter, so make sure you have some warm clothes. However, you will warm up while climbing – wearing ‘layers’ that can be added or removed as required is ideal. Please bring some thin socks to wear with the climbing shoes.

Lockers: We have free to use lockers, which require your own padlocks (purchasable at reception).  However we cannot take responsibility for your valuables, so ideally do not bring anything of significant value to the centre.

Café: We have a great café serving coffee, cake, sandwiches and soft drinks.
